Coke Dust
It is a fine coke
separated by screening from the larger sizes before or after crushing. It is a
carbon backfill that’s used around impressed current anodes for underground
cathodic protection applications. Reduce consumption of the anode since the
carbon becomes the a part of the anode consumed before the anode itself.
Particle Size and shape also are important when specifying a backfill. Coke
breeze may be a carbonaceous backfill widely wont to enhance the performances
of impressed current ground beds. Petroleum coke undergoes a thermal treatment
process.
